Jemima Beaumont is a professionally registered Arts Psychotherapist (ANZACATA) in private practice in Canberra. Her practice is called Sacred Space Arts Therapy and she works with children and teens to support them to build social skills, find adaptive strategies to work with their anxiety and depression and to develop their confidence and self-esteem. Jemima also works with adults to support them to recover from trauma, understand their experiencing and find more adaptive and empowering ways of being in the world. Jemima uses the arts as a way to gently explore experiencing and to bring to light to that which was felt, but previously unknown.

About the class
During this therapeutically focussed workshop, Jemima will support participants to create a collage as a way to reflect on the change that has occurred in the world over the last few months as a result of the COVID19 pandemic. Participants will be invited to reflect on the impact on them personally, on their resiliencies, strengths and struggles and to find peace and hope in the grounded now through the process of art making.
